Quickstart
Create your account and send your first invoice in about five minutes.
This guide takes you from zero to a sent invoice. You'll need your business name, a customer to bill, and a few minutes.
#1. Create your account
Go to the PaidFast sign-up page and register with your email and a password, or continue with Google.
- If you sign up with email, we send a verification link — click it to activate your account.
- Signing in with Google verifies you automatically.
Forgot your password later? Use Forgot password on the sign-in page to get a reset link.
#2. Set up your organization
The first time you sign in, PaidFast asks for a few details about your business:
- Business name — appears on every invoice.
- Country and currency — sets your default tax behaviour and the currency invoices are raised in.
- Tax profile — your tax registration details (for example a KRA PIN in Kenya), used on compliant invoices.
You can change any of this later under Organization settings. See Set up your organization for the full walkthrough.
#3. Add a customer
Open Customers and add the person or company you want to bill. At minimum you need a name; adding an email and phone number lets PaidFast send the invoice and payment link for you.
See Customers for more.
#4. Create an invoice
Click Create invoice, choose your customer, and add line items — a description, quantity, and unit price for each. PaidFast calculates tax, discounts, and the total as you go.
Full details are in Create an invoice.
#5. Send it and get paid
Send the invoice by email or WhatsApp (WhatsApp sending is available on the Starter plan where enabled). The message includes a secure payment link that takes your customer to the customer portal, where they can view the invoice and pay online.
When the payment clears, PaidFast marks the invoice Paid and issues a receipt automatically.
#What's next
- Turn on automated reminders so overdue invoices chase themselves.
- Add your logo and brand colours in Organization settings.
- Explore quotations if you quote before you invoice.
