WhatsApp

Send invoices, quotations, receipts, and reminders over WhatsApp — and let customers create draft invoices by message.

WhatsApp is how many customers prefer to communicate, so PaidFast puts it to work for billing. Where the integration is enabled, you can send documents over WhatsApp and even create draft invoices from WhatsApp messages. WhatsApp sending is a Starter feature and depends on the platform having WhatsApp activated.

#Sending over WhatsApp

Once WhatsApp is enabled, it becomes a sending channel alongside email. You can deliver:

  • Invoices with a secure payment link.
  • Quotations for the customer to review and approve.
  • Receipts after a payment clears.
  • Automated reminders for overdue invoices.

The customer receives the message on the phone number in their customer record, so keep phone numbers accurate.

#Creating invoices from WhatsApp

PaidFast can turn an incoming WhatsApp message into a draft invoice. This lets you (or your team) start an invoice from your phone by sending a message describing the sale — PaidFast ingests it and creates a draft you can review, adjust, and send from the dashboard.

Drafts created this way behave like any other draft invoice: nothing is sent to the customer until you send it.

#Requirements

  • The Starter plan.
  • WhatsApp activated for the platform by your PaidFast administrator.
  • Accurate customer phone numbers for delivery.

#Troubleshooting

  • Customer didn't receive a WhatsApp? Confirm the phone number on the customer record is correct and in full international format.
  • WhatsApp option missing? It may not be activated for your account — check with your PaidFast administrator, or send by email in the meantime.
