Send & share invoices
Deliver invoices by email or WhatsApp with a secure payment link, or download a PDF to share yourself.
Once an invoice is ready, you can get it in front of your customer several ways.
Send the invoice to the customer's email address. The message includes a summary and a secure payment link to the customer portal, where they can view the full invoice and pay online. Replies go to your seller contact email.
Email sending is available on the Starter plan.
Where WhatsApp is enabled, PaidFast can send the invoice and payment link over WhatsApp to the customer's phone number — often the fastest way to get paid in markets where WhatsApp is the default channel.
WhatsApp sending is available on Starter where the platform has activated the WhatsApp integration. See WhatsApp for details.
#Download and share yourself
On any plan you can download the invoice as a PDF and share it however you like — email it manually, print it, or send it through another app. This is the primary sending method on the Free plan.
#The payment link
Every sent invoice carries a payment link. When the customer opens it they land in the customer portal, where they can:
- See the invoice, line items, and amount due.
- Pay online through any enabled payment method — M-Pesa, card, Pesapal, mobile money, or PayPal.
- Download a copy for their records.
The link stays valid until the invoice is paid, so a customer can return to it later.
#Resending
If a customer says they didn't receive the invoice, you can resend it by email or WhatsApp from the invoice. The payment link stays the same.
#Confirming delivery
Check the Activity feed to confirm an invoice was sent and, later, when it was paid. See Statuses & tracking.
Tip: Turn on automated reminders so PaidFast follows up on unpaid invoices for you, using the same channels.
