Organization settings

The full reference for your business profile — identity, tax, branding, contact details, and currency.

Settings → Organization is where you manage everything about your business inside PaidFast. Changes here flow through to every document you create next.

#Business identity

  • Business name — appears on all invoices, quotations, receipts, and the portal.
  • Address and registration details — optional, shown on documents where relevant.

#Tax profile

  • Tax registration number — for example your KRA PIN in Kenya. It appears on your invoices and receipts.
  • The tax system and environment are under Settings → Tax Compliance. Leave them at their defaults. See Tax settings.

#Currency

  • Base currency — the default for documents you raise.
  • Individual invoices and quotations can still be issued in a foreign currency with an exchange rate.

#Branding (Starter)

  • Logo — shown on documents and the portal.
  • Brand colour — the accent colour on customer-facing pages and documents.

On Free, documents carry PaidFast branding; custom branding is a Starter feature. See Plans.

#Contact / seller details

  • Support Email — used as reply-to on invoice emails and shown to customers.
  • Support Phone — the number customers can reach you on. It's also the only number allowed to run WhatsApp commands for your business.

Keep these current so customer replies and queries reach you.

#WhatsApp staff access

The first time your support phone sends a WhatsApp command, PaidFast emails a code to the email address the business registered with. After it's confirmed, a line under Support Phone shows when and for which number, for example "WhatsApp staff access: verified on 11 Oct for +254700112233. Checked again every 90 days."

  • Remove access turns it off straight away. The next command needs a new code.
  • Changing the support phone number also needs a new code.

#Applying changes

Updates apply to new documents. Invoices, quotations, and receipts you've already issued keep the details they were created with, so your historical records stay accurate.
